Hunter Foot & Ankle is pleased to announce that Dr Kent's research article, "Delayed stabilisation of dynamically unstable syndesmotic injuries results in worse functional outcomes" has been published in the latest edition of the International orthopaedic & sports journal, "Knee, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy." His research shows that syndesmotic injuries treated with surgery after 6 months have far worse outcomes than those identified and treated surgically within 6 weeks. Hence, if you suspect you have a syndesmotic injury, it is imperative that you see a foot & ankle surgeon as early as possible! A link to a copy of the article is attached below.
